On Tuesday, August 6th, Vistar Media participated in the 3rd Annual GoandbeGreat AJB Invitational at Quaker Ridge Golf Club. 

The GoandbeGreat AJB Invitational raises money for the GFYC Foundation, in memory of Ari Jay Bluman who passed away in 2016 after battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Over the past few years, the GFYC Foundation has raised nearly $1 million to support organizations such as Cancer for College, Cycle for Survival and Happiness is Camping. 

As a proud sponsor of this event, Vistar Media created an interactive carnival experience at one of the course’s holes, offering golfers the opportunity to win prizes and pick up snacks. The event was a major success for the Foundation, and we loved getting to see so many people from across the advertising industry come together to support a wonderful cause.

According to Debra Bluman, founder of the GFYC Foundation and a member of the media and advertising community, “Sponsors like Vistar not only help make fundraising events a success, but also demonstrate their commitment to supporting local charities that help individuals within the media industry make sense of the unthinkable.” 

While the Foundation is waiting on the final tally, they expect to find they’ve exceeded their $100,000 goal and outraised previous years.
